My interest in Complementary Therapies started in 2015 when I began practicing yoga and Pilates regularly.
In 2017 I started a course in Holistic body massage and I participated at various day-events of practice in Bristol and around the Somerset area.
I studied at The University of Bath "Sport Massage level 3 and level 4 where I found a greater understanding of providing sports massage techniques to prevent injuries and treatment modalities to support soft tissue repair.
*trigger point therapy
*soft tissue release
*Muscle energy technique
I worked at the clinic of the University of Bath with athletes and I treated specific body areas ( calf, quads and hamstrings) after their training .
I also worked at the Bath rugby (post-event treatment)using a variety of hands on techniques and application of pressure to speed up recovery, prevent injury and reduce the stress and tension that accommodate in soft tissue.
I believe that there is a strong connection between the mind and the body. when you are working on your own personal development, it's essential that you address both and physical health needs and your mental health needs.
