Wylie has recently graduated with a BSc in Physiotherapy from UWE. Additionally, he is qualified in Level 3 Sports Massage Therapy and has worked with a variety of clients in a small private Physiotherapy practice in Bristol. Prior to training as a Physiotherapist, Wylie graduated from the University of Bath with a BA Hons in Sport and Social Science in 2015.
Before returning to academia, he gained experience working as a Therapy Assistant in a busy London NHS department. He also spent 3 months working in a care home, specialising in working with residents with dementia.
As an ambitious Sportsman with a competitive streak, Wylie has enjoyed being a club swimmer for over 15 years, competing at national level and heading up the Team Bath University swimming squad as Men’s Captain. Most recently seeking out new challenges in open water swimming, completing a relay channel swim in 2017 and completing lake Windemere solo in 2019. Wylie also enjoys surfing, skiing, football, cycling and yoga as he endeavours to keep physically active.

Experience
Worked full-time for two years as a therapy assistant in MSK outpatients in the NHS, independently running exercise classes and undertaking one-to-one rehabilitation sessions with patients. Have practised sports massage therapy for a local private practice in Bristol alongside Physiotherapy studies.
Clinical interests
Sports injury prevention, strength and conditioning and generally making a positive impact on peoples lives whether that be by enabling someone to independently mobilise up and down the stairs safely in their own home or inspiring someone to complete a solo one way channel swim.
