Visa medical for foreign travel

According to Henley Passport Index, UK is still placed no 4 in the world of passport rankings. UK has 177 countries that the citizens can travel for free or without visa. But there are still other countries where UK citizens cannot just rock up and enter. UK citizens still need a visa to visit: Afghanistan, Algeria, Angola, Bhutan, Burundi, Cameroon, Central African Republic, Chad, Congo, Democratic Republic of Congo, Equatorial Guinea, Eritrea, Ghana, Guinea, Iran, Liberia, Libya, Mali, Mongolia, Nauru, Niger, Nigeria, North Korea, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Sierra Leone, Syria, Sudan, South Sudan, Tibet*, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Yemen. While most of visa requirements don't need a medical check up, if you wish to work or stay longer than tourist visit duration, you might need visa medicals. I am not a British passport holder but I reside in the UK, should I get a visa medical?

What do I need to bring to my appointment?

You will need to bring your Visa medical form and photographic identification, such as a photo driving licence or passport.

In order to complete your medical you will need to bring a copy of your GP records. Our receptionist will provide you with a letter to give to your GP practice requesting this.
