What is a chiropractic adjustment?

Chiropractic treatment involves gentle “adjustments” to reduce pain, restore motion and improve the function of joints and the nervous system.

During the adjustment, a small thrust is directed at the joint and you may hear a small pop or crack. This sound is produced by gas bubbles popping within the joint fluid as the pressure is released.

'Spinal manipulation is effective in adults for low back pain, migraine, headache and dizziness originating from the neck. Manipulation is effective for several extremity joint conditions.'
