What is Osteopathy?
The General Osteopathic Council, the profession's regulating body, describe Osteopathy as “a system of diagnosis and treatment for a wide range of medical conditions. It works with the structure and function of the body, and is based on the principle that the well-being of an individual depends on the skeleton, muscles, ligaments and connective tissues functioning smoothly together".

What to expect in your first physiotherapy appointment
During your first appointment your physiotherapist will go through your medical history and undertake an examination. They will also complete a 3D Functional Movement Analysis.
X-Rays or MRIs will be taken if possible, but it may be required for you to return for your scan.
