Akash Lal
BSc (Hons) Physiotherapy
Senior Physiotherapist
Akash graduated from University of L'Aquila (Italy) in 2016, and has worked across a large variety of specialities within private practice and sports therapy for Wells City FC pitch side trauma care, injury assessment and rehabilitation. In 2017 he was part of the "Isokinetic London - FIFA Medical Centre of Excellence" Team during my ERASMUS placement. In 2019 moved to Somerset, and worked in the community providing home visit assessment and treatment and for Practice Plus Group Hospital in Shepton Mallet, where he improved his skills in treating aches and pain and managing post-operative rehabilitation including upper and lower limb.
With all his experiences, academic and work, he now has a better understanding of the human body, biomechanics, injuries and how to fix them using a mixture of skills including manual therapy, massage, myofascial release, taping and exercise based rehabilitation helping every patients to reach their rehabilitation goals. With the main aim to get them back to the hobbies, ADLs or sports they love to do.
Akash's claim to fame is that he is the only physiotherapist in UK certified by the inventor of the method to treat and evaluate with a treatment method called RPG/GPR (Global Postural Re-education - a treatment approach specific to physiotherapist that aims to evaluate and treat the human body as a whole.
