Andrew has a strong interest in bridging the gap between injury rehabilitation and performance. With a background in sports therapy, private MSK practice and performance coaching, he has experience supporting a wide range of patients, from everyday gym-goers to rugby and football players returning to sport.
His clinical interests lend themselves well to educational content around sports injuries, tendinopathy, gym-based rehabilitation, strength training, and reducing fear around pain and movement. Andrew is also currently completing postgraduate research exploring the effectiveness of shockwave therapy for tendinopathy, giving him a strong interest in applying evidence to practical, patient-focused care.
Outside of clinic, Andrew enjoys rugby, gym training, hiking and staying active, which gives him a relatable understanding of the physical and psychological challenges involved in injury recovery and returning to meaningful activity.
Clinical Interest
Musculoskeletal physiotherapy, sports injury rehabilitation, and return-to-performance training. I have a particular interest in tendinopathy management, lower limb injuries, and combining strength and conditioning principles with physiotherapy to optimise function and long-term outcomes.
