Dr Omer Elma
PhD, MCSP, COMT
Physiotherapist
Dr. Omer Elma is a physiotherapist with a special interest in helping people manage and overcome long-term musculoskeletal pain. Since qualifying in 2014, he has worked with patients in Turkey, Belgium, and the UK, combining hands-on treatment with up-to-date research to support recovery and improve quality of life. Omer is a certified manual therapist and a member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapists. Alongside his clinical work, he has completed a PhD in physiotherapy focusing on chronic low back pain and lifestyle factors, and he also shares his knowledge as a lecturer in musculoskeletal physiotherapy at Bournemouth University.
I am an active researcher in and has published on the link between chronic musculoskeletal pain,
Lifestyle factors, and neuroimmune metabolism.
