Gethin Lavery
BSc Physiotherapy
Physiotherapist
Gethin first role was as a Sports Physiotherapist for Pontypool RFC, competing in the Welsh Rugby Championship, and was involved in the treatment and prevention of sporting injuries and providing pitch-side cover on matchdays. During this time he was able to modify his approach to treating sports injuries so that players could balance injury recovery with other full-time jobs. This has helped him understand the physiological and psychological difficulties of competing for places at this level while battling possible injuries.
When not enjoying himself at work, Gethin takes great pride in his own health by gym and weight training on a regular basis. He also enjoys a variety of sports and still plays football at academy level.
