Lauren Barriball
BSc (Hons) Physiotherapy
Senior Physiotherapist
Lauren graduated from the University of the West of England in 2019. Her main passion involves musculoskeletal and rheumatology physiotherapy, alongside sporting injury and prevention. She hugely encourage patient centred care with a holistic based assessment and treatment management approach, tackling the root cause of symptom provocation.
She consistently builds upon her clinical skills, recently completing her level 3 Diploma in Sports Massage Therapy. This has already been highly effective as an adjunct to her management approach with improved symptom resolution and patients being able to achieve their set goals.
She has been fortunate enough to develop her own ACL Prehabilitation project in a previous role, so has a broad scope of knowledge for this particular clientele and what it takes to get back to full function and return to sport.
Outside of work she is a keen swimmer, cyclist and tennis player. Recently, she has taken up running, although through this has picked up a few injuries so now has a better understanding around training management and importance of gait analysis technique.

Sports massage, General rehabilitation and maintenance.
Experience
Over 4 years NHS experience working across range of settings including: Trauma and Orthopaedics, MSK and Rheumatology outpatients, inpatient wards treating medical and elderly patients.
