Physiotherapist

As a lifelong athlete with a background in tennis, softball, and competitive netball at county, regional, and national levels, I’ve always been passionate about sport and performance. After sustaining a knee injury that sidelined me for a year, I took on the role of Welfare Officer for the University of Birmingham Netball Club. This experience gave me valuable first-hand insight into the psychological impact of injury — a perspective that now shapes my clinical practice with empathy and understanding.

My interests also extend to women’s health and supporting female athletes. I recently completed an MSc dissertation exploring menstrual cycle–related injury risk in female athletes, which I hope to publish soon. This research continues to fuel my commitment to empowering women through evidence-based, informed care.

In addition, I am preparing a presentation on menopause as part of my MSc studies, deepening my knowledge of another key stage in women’s health. Together, these experiences inform my holistic, athlete-centered approach to physiotherapy — one that combines performance insight with compassion and scientific understanding.”
