Sports Injury Therapist

I’ve always had a strong passion for sport and physical activity, having taken part in a wide range of disciplines growing up, with athletics being my main focus. From a young age, I was fascinated by how the body moves and performs, and I loved the challenge of pushing my own limits. Unfortunately, I fractured my toe early in my sporting journey, which made it difficult to continue competing and restricted my own progress for some time.

That experience was a turning point for me. Going through the rehabilitation process opened my eyes to how crucial proper recovery, guidance, and support are — not just for professional athletes, but for anyone who enjoys staying active. I became aware of how easily an injury can affect not only physical ability but also confidence, motivation, and overall wellbeing. This inspired me to pursue a career in sports therapy, with the goal of helping others overcome setbacks, rebuild strength, and return to the activities that bring them joy.

Today, I’m passionate about taking a holistic, person-centered approach to therapy. I believe that effective rehabilitation is about more than treating symptoms — it’s about understanding the individual, their goals, and the physical and mental challenges they face along the way. I enjoy working closely with clients to develop tailored treatment and exercise plans that support their recovery, enhance performance, and reduce the risk of future injury.

Whether it’s helping someone return to sport after injury, regain mobility following a setback, or simply move with more confidence and ease in daily life, my focus is always on empowering people to take control of their own movement and wellbeing. Seeing clients progress, regain confidence, and rediscover their enjoyment of being active is what makes my work so rewarding.

My clinical interests include exercise-based rehabilitation and soft tissue therapy. I particularly enjoy working with clients in a gym-based setting to support functional recovery, improve movement quality, and build strength throughout the rehabilitation process. I also have a strong interest in sports massage and soft tissue techniques to aid recovery.
I’ve worked with professional sports teams including the Warrington Wolves Rugby League 1st Team and Bolton Wanderers 1st Team Football, providing soft tissue therapy, massage, and recovery support. I also have experience in private practice at Summit Physiotherapy, delivering gym-based rehabilitation, manual therapy, and sports massage. My university clinic placement gave me a strong foundation in assessment, treatment, and rehabilitation under the supervision of experienced clinicians
