You will need to bring your ACU Motorsport medical form with you and photographic identification, such as a photo driving licence or passport.
If you wear glasses or contact lenses, you must also bring your most recent glasses prescription.
In order to complete your medical you will need to bring a copy of your GP records. Our receptionist will provide you with a letter to give to your GP practice requesting this.
An ACU Motorsport exam is a legal requirement for anyone looking to take part in ACU Motorsport. Anyone wishing to take part must have passed an examination with a registered doctor. At The Medical our GPs can perform the complete range of tests required for your medical. An ACU Motorsport Competition Medical costs £150.
Our GPs are all registered with the General Medical Council (GMC) and members of the Royal College of General Practitioners (MRCGP). They are also experienced in NHS as well as private healthcare practice.
At The Medical our aim is to make it as easy as possible for clients to make an appointment. So our service reflects the needs of 21st-century living and is designed for busy people with hectic schedules. Our GPs are available five days a week, from 8am until 8pm.
The Medical is approved by the government's healthcare watchdog, the Care Quality Commission (CQC), who assesses whether a healthcare centre is safe, caring and responsive to the patients' needs. This means that we are regulated to the same standards as your NHS GP or hospital, so you can be assured you will receive care of the highest standard.
We have been awarded the 'Clinic Management Quality Mark' and the 'Patient Practice Quality Mark' for clinical excellence and consistently exceeding our customers' expectations. The Medical is also accredited by all major insurance providers.
