Small yoga classes for increased instructor focus

Yoga classes are taught from our studio at our Temple Quay clinic. Drop-in classes are limited to six people to ensure that everyone receives an abundance of focus from the instructor. This improves the quality of instruction and accelerates our clients’ progression.

Become stronger and more flexible

Their dynamic Vinyasa beginner and intermediate classes integrate breath with alignment and movement for transformation of both the body and mind. It one of the more gentle forms of yoga, as you can see below:

- Yin yoga concentrates on gentle, stretching practice.

- Iyengar yoga is a moderate practice with emphasis on detail, precision and alignment. It focuses on the development of strength, mobility and stability with use of props.

- Ashtanga and Hot yoga are more vigorous in exercise than Vinyasa.

Vinyasa flow yoga is a moderate practice somewhere between Yin and Ashtanga, concentrating on movement and strength in addition to flexibility, synchronizing movement to the breath. Each movement is connected to an inhalation or exhalation and held for a number of breaths. A sun salutation sequence will be used at the beginning of class to warm up the body and is often used to flow between the other standing postures, before leading on to a seated practice of twists, back-bends, core work and stretching.

In effect, attention is placed on the breath and the journey between the pose rather than solely on achieving perfect body alignment in a pose. The classes are suitable for all ages, both beginners and intermediate practitioners, with options given to suit all abilities.
